Six wins in a row for the Astros

With their scores in their first matches of the season, the fans of the Houston Astros weren't optimistic about what their team can achieve. Couple of months later, the Houston Astros team was able to change their position in the score board and was able to achieve six winnings in a row. Before the last game against St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros was able to beat the Brewers in a very exciting game.

This Monday, Astros met St. Louis Cardinals in Busch Stadium and was able to finish the match with a score of 9 - 4, despite their stumbled start at the beginning of the match. The weather was very hot and the humidity was suffocating but, the Astros team was determinant to win the game and they were able to modify the score in the eight and the ninth.

On an interview with the Astros Manager, Brad Mills, he stated that his team was able to do a great job in this match and that he could see a great improvement in the team spirit of his players as they are now supporting each other in the field and playing with great enthusiasm. Mills also marked the trade offs of the team as another reason for the changed attitude of the team.

The famous tradeoff between the Astros and the Yankees ended that the Yankees will get Lance Berkman and the Astros will get two young talented players from the Yankees. These two new players became a part of the young enthusiastic team that the Astros turned to be.

St. Louis Cardinals found the way to their first home loss against Houston Astros. Although St. Louis was heading but, the Astros managed to win the lead 5 - 4 during the eighth before they continue their way with another 4 points in the ninth to the final score 9 - 4.
Houston Astros surprised everyone with their last win as the Cardinals did not lose a home match this season but, Houston did not and made their sixth win in a row with score 9 - 4 although they were lagging behind until the eighth were the score started to change.

Keppinger was very happy with that win and he was even happier because his team members are now more supportive to each other in the field. He also linked all of this to the new spirit of the team that occurred after the arrival of the two young players as they are doing their best to prove their abilities in the field. He also said that the
up was perfect and has a role in this winning. Keppinger was thrilled and linked the winning to the
up of his team. He mentioned that the young players of his team were eager to prove themselves in the pitch. He also stated that they are improving from one match to another. Basically, the lineup of the Astros changed completely and that was the reason of their continuous winning.

Myers, the popular Astros pitcher, had a great role in this winning with four players struck out in six innings and three runs and the same number of hits. These numbers could be the base of a new franchise record as the season is still in its beginnings.

The trade offs of the franchise icons, Berkman and Oswalt, were considered the main reasons behind this remarkable change in the team performance according to what the fans said. Many people see that the players are now performing as a team without depending on one player only during the game. The fans are optimistic about the final position of their team on the score board especially with the new team spirit.
The fans were really excited about the game, the score and the new attitude of their beloved team. Many of them mentioned that this new team spirit appeared after the tradeoffs and the arrival of the new players from the Yankees. The
up also had its role in this change that brought six winnings in a row.
